In a gist
On the road to justice
When victim children want justice, the only right way is to legally file a case against the perpetrator(s), and the legal system will take over to receive the statements of the victims and witnesses, immediately apprehending the perpetrator(s), gathering all evidences including physical, virtual and medical records, helping the victim children record their witness statements in court, process the cases and file the charges against the perpetrator(s) in court and defend the child legally all while providing complete protection and monetary support to the victims everything done meticulously according to the laws of the land.
But due to various issues and circumstances, many cases sway away from the law and take too long to finish while losing their legal veracity causing enormous suffering among victims who came seeking justice.

A child needs to be a child despite the case proceedings and it’s consequences happening on all sides. The victims usually lose their childhoods during legal battles and this is why we support victim children from the moment we come to know about the issue until they get justice, finish their education and live safely and without any effects of the legal, social and mental battles.

The Legal Battles
Defending children legally
It is not easy to support a child when the supporters of the abuser are determined to somehow come to a compromise or stop the victim at any cost from going through with the case. The real life situations the victims and their families are put through are so difficult to comprehend that most of the times families choose to give up and go somewhere and start a new life.
We have been standing with the victims and their families through thick and thin and go through all sorts of life threatening situations, shocking events, all forms of abuse and turn down offers to compromise the case to protect children and get justice for them. We cannot do it without the support of good people starting from those who support us, police personnel who are concerned about child rights and justice minded people from various statutory bodies. Sometimes it’s difficult to even file an FIR. Sometimes it is very difficult to make the victims understand that they have to testify in court. Most of the times children do not want to go to Police stations and courts and do not want to relive the traumatic experiences by having to tell them again and again and they just want to be left alone so that they can continue with what’s left of their childhood. We help them go through legal procedures with understanding and courage that we stand with them. So continue to stand with us as we Defend Child Rights.
