Trafficking of children ranges from a childless couple getting a baby by illegal means to parents selling their children due to poverty. Don’t be misguided by the word poverty leading to the belief that it is targeted at poor people only, the consumers of trafficked victims and their products are all those who have lots of money to spare.
More than 95% of girls trafficked are forced into Prostitution.
More than 90% of trafficked boys are sold into Bonded labour.
